Radiology Reporting IT Support

and we are looking for 
IT Support Administrator to join our busy team & support our Radiology Department.

Role is based at our head office is South East London with occasional
site visit as requested.

We are looking for IT Support Administrator to join on a permanent basis,
full time 37.5 hours/7 days a week, so would include weekend shifts on a rota
basis.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Technician with
NHS experience to be part of our growing organisation; serving staff and
delivering high quality care to patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading
the Picture Archive and Communications System (PACS), external Radiology
Information System(s) (RIS), relevant clinical applications and any other
systems connected to PACS across client Trusts. The post acts as the first
point of contact and escalation of issues in relation to these systems,
ensuring proactive monitoring and resolution is undertaken. This post is also
responsible for managing and leading integration with NHS Trusts and for
delivering projects to ensure systems are fully utilised.

The candidate will work closely with key stakeholders for PACS to ensure
Radiology IT systems have a clear strategy of development, including
considering new technologies whilst ensuring active monitoring of work stations
are adhered to.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing and maintaining an
information system, must be self-motivated, well organised and have a high
standard of professionalism in order to deal with a range of customer
stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  •        Monitor the support inboxes for IT
    team
  •        Manage with day-to-day requests
  •        Support on a variety of IT projects
    & IT systems maintenance
  •        Support with the upgrading,
    installing and configuring of new hardware and software to meet company
    objectives
  •        Ensure that thecompanydata protection policies are adhered
    to
    andminimise
    the risk of a data breach occurring
  •        Performing and Monitoring data
    backups as per schedule
  •        Incident Reporting including
    detection, response, and remediation.
  •        Managing Phone system like Mitel,
    cisco, x-on etc
  •        Knowledge of system security (e.g.,
    intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

Essential

  •       Educated to degree level (or equivalent), having at least 2 to 3 years’ experience in an IT support administrator role 
  •       Strong technical capabilities in Windows workstations and server, Microsoft Business Applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure 
  •       Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  •       Troubleshoot system and network
    problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults

As part of our employment process, you will be required to complete the
appropriate level DBS check.
